Prayer is an important part of daily life at St Clare’s. The following prayers are said each day in the classrooms. Children are invited to join in or to pray in their own way. Other traditional prayers we use can be found in our prayer book (click here).

Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you God for everything.

Thank you for my dinner today and the time I have had to play.
Help me to get busy soon, and be good and kind all afternoon.

Now the day is over we lift and hands and say,
thank you Heavenly Father, for today.
We’re sorry for the wrong things,
and glad about the right.

Dear Lord,
