All our school meals are prepared and cooked on site by our expert, friendly catering staff. Our school meals are provided by Food For Thought, who are a not for profit company with the aim of providing high quality homemade meals to our children.
There is a large choice of meals available to our children with lots of very healthy options. Each day there is a choice of a hot meal or if your child does not like the hot meal choice for that day, they can choose from a selection of sandwiches, rolls, baguettes, wraps and jacket potatoes.
A salad bar is available everyday for all pupils.
This is accompanied by a dessert of the day, fresh fruit or yoghurts.
We can also cater for vegetarians and children with other special dietary needs. We have a full and extensive halal options for our children daily.
We have occasional “Theme Days” throughout the year such as, French day, Spanish day, Party day, American day, and of course Christmas dinner day!
The catering staff follow all the Nutritional Guidelines when preparing meals so you can be certain of a healthy and beneficial meal for your child.
If you are unsure as whether your child would enjoy a school meal please feel free to make arrangements with school to visit at lunchtime and see the menu in action.
Our meals cost £1.80 per day or £9.00 per week.
