Local area fieldwork

We took a trip around our local area, we looked at landmarks, discussed places we recognised and have visited. We also stopped at key points and created a meaningful map of what we could see.

We used our atlas to firstly identify the four countries that make up the UK. We then used them to locate and identify the four capital cities.

Stop Plastic Pollution! Persuasive letters to the PM

Year 2 are very excited to have had a response from 10 Downing Street following our persuasive letters about stopping plastic pollution.

A virtual tour of Paris

As part of our geography about a locality study within Europe, year 4 took a virtual tour of Paris, using an on-line digital map. ‘We ‘visited’ all the major tourist attractions and worked out the best route to match our itinerary.
